Software Engineering Intern
Yes, you will touch production. Build and ship AI agents that do real operational work. Your code goes live in week one.
This is not the internship where you fix the printer.
We do not have a printer. We have AI coding agents, real client systems and two founders who notice when a day passes without a commit.
What we are building
TenthNode builds AI agents that take manual work off operations teams: the tickets, the spreadsheets, the copy-paste between systems and the "just following up" emails.
We started in property and hospitality, where the founders spent their careers. The same work shows up in every business that runs on people and systems. We are early, so whatever you build or write gets used.
What you will actually do
- Build and ship real features with AI coding agents. Your code reaches production in week one.
- Build agents that read, decide and act inside real business workflows: invoices, enquiries, applications and reports.
- Talk to the people who use what you build, then fix what annoys them by Thursday.
- Break things, learn why, fix them and write it down.
- Sit in on client conversations. Between them, the founders have spent nearly 40 years watching business systems fail. Learn from their scars instead of collecting your own.
What you will learn
- How to build with AI agents properly, not prompt and pray.
- How real operations software works, and why it is harder than it looks.
- How an early company decides what to build and what to kill.
- Zero coffee-run skills. Sorry.
Who you are
- You build things for fun. Side projects, half-finished repos, a GitHub that tells a story.
- You already live in AI tools and have opinions about them.
- You ship first, polish second and say so when something is broken.
- You are curious about how businesses actually run behind the front desk.
- You code in at least one modern language and pick up new ones fast.
- A degree is nice. Proof of building is nicer.
You already build with AI coding agents, you are comfortable with version control and you have caught yourself saying "I wonder if an agent could do that."
Come build the agents that do the busywork.
